What is the relationship between Dive Specialist courses and Adventure Dives?

The first dives of NovoScuba Dive Specialist courses are the same as the corresponding Adventure Dive. Divers may credit a Dive Specialist course they are certified in towards the NovoScuba Dive Adventurer or Dive Explorer courses
