What are the depth limits for children on the Dive Explorer course?
When teaching children under the age of 18, the following depth limits apply:
- Divers aged 10 and 11 can dive up to a maximum depth of 12 metres.
- Divers aged 12 to 14 can dive up to a maximum depth of 21 metres.
- Divers aged 15 or older can dive up to a maximum depth of 30 metres.
When using a Rebreather, divers should only go as deep as the depth for which they are qualified with the Rebreather. If the qualified depth is shallower than 18 metres, then 18 metres is the maximum depth allowed
