What are the certification requirements for Divemaster?
To be certified as a NovoScuba Divemaster, the student must:
- Complete the eLearning program for Divemaster
- Develop an Emergency Assistance Plan for a specific dive location.
- Complete the Water Skills exercises.
- Complete the Diver Rescue assessment.
- Complete the Skills Development Workshop and assessment.
- Complete Divemaster Conducted Programs workshops.
- Complete the Divemaster Practical Skills Workshops.
- Complete the Practical Evaluation
- Complete the Customer Service Workshop
- Complete the Buoyancy Control exercise
- Meet the professionalism code requirements.
- Have a minimum of 60 Logged Dives, including experience in night, deep, and underwater navigation at the time of certification.
- Completed First Aid Primary and Secondary Care training within 24 months.
- Read and accept the NovoScuba Membership and License Agreements.
Divers between the ages of 15 and 18 will receive a Junior Divemaster certification
