Disabilities

How can you teach divers with Disabilities?

A Disability is a physical, mental, cognitive, or developmental condition that impairs, interferes with, or limits a person’s ability to engage in specific tasks or actions or participate in typical daily activities and interactions. You may use adaptive techniques to enable a student to perform a skill successfully. All NovoScuba eLearning programs are built so that a student can complete them without using a particular sense or ability.

Allow people with Disabilities to:

  • Enrol on a course once they have received doctors’ approval.
  • Be certified once they have met all the performance requirements for a course.
  • Continue participating in a course, providing they still have doctors’ approval.
