Risk Management while Teaching

How can you manage risk during training courses?

When teaching NovoScuba courses and programs, it is crucial to assess the risks for student divers. This assessment involves considering factors like the diver’s skills, the environment, equipment, and physical and psychological factors.

It is advisable to always exercise caution and be conservative in decision-making and judgment. Additionally, training divers to manage stress and anxiety and avoid panic while in the water is crucial. As an Instructor, you must be vigilant, recognise any signs of anxiety or panic in your divers, and be prepared to intervene if necessary. Be vigilant and diligent in your duties.
